Not sure why people here are giving this hotel a 5 star review. Lets begin with the manager Cathy ans front desk staff Erika, - both never smile, no compassion and the answer is always no and wait. I paid a room for a price equivalent to suite. The room provided to me had a foul odor carpet and clogged sink. The room smelled horrible. I requested to be transferred to a suite because thats the price that I paid for but both of them asked for me to pay an extra 200plus dollars to be transferred to a non smoking suite on the 4th floor. Again, the carpet was stinky and the hallway was filled with cigarette odor. When you open the patio, the air was filled with cigarette smoke . I requested to be transferred to a suite room without carpet but of them did not help me. I told them that my daughter was coughing from the cigarette smoke and filthy carpet and odor but no compassion. It is not fair for clients to pay the same price for a room that has a carpet versus a non carpeted floor. The manager Erika said, โ I thought all the suite rooms are non carpeted. They have given me the stinky room, dirty carpet, no an iron , iron board and hangers like they were punishing me for a price more than the actual rate. I waited until Sunday to get transferred to a suite room without a carpet thru the help of Mr. Kit. He was very accommodating , caring and compassionate. He went above and beyond to help me transfer to a non carpeted suite despite of him working the night shift and day shift.
