Brother is handicapped. Made reservation for 2 nights—Friday and Saturday in a handicapped room. Called the Hotel itself to verify he had it for 2 nights. They couldn’t give him a walk in shower for both nights, so we opted for the tub with safety rail for both nights. He has a serious balance problem and needed this safety measure. He opted for use card on arrival instead of using prepay because he wanted to use a different card than the night before. While he was at a reunion event they cleared his room, rented it someone else, refused to give him his things back, and refused to give him a receipt. Now they are charging him twice as much for a whole NEW reservation for tonight, and he needs the handicapped room, they haven’t got another, and needs to get ready for tonight’s event— which was the main reason for the trip in the first place.
