This is a good value place to stay a couple of nights. Nice and clean everywhere. The communal lounge areas and dining room were decent. Breakfast was good and dinner at £22 was also good. Plenty of free parking.

We paid well over the odds for the room. £247 for one night is ridiculous and is just greed. Room was clean and tidy, breakfast was good. One bath towel for two guests not great, rooms are quite dated. Overall, would stay again but definitely not worth the price we paid.

The check in was incredibly slow. The bathroom was dirty. The tuck shop at reception was missing half the items on the menu. The breakfast in the morning was slow and when they ran out of hash browns and I asked if there would be more, the server just shrugged at me.

Avoid if you have any mobility issues

No clear signage to direct you to where main reception is, car park is a maze. Receptionist told us directions to the furthest part of the hotel, bear in mind I’m physically disabled, at no point did she explain we could have driven round or where the lifts are. Speaking of lifts they are only on 2 sides of the building, which goes in a circle, every time we came out of our room we had to go through 5 doors just to get to the lift, none of which opened automatically or stayed open to allow access.
