The changes make the difference

The upgrades made by the new management are amazing. Comfortable beds, clean rooms and bathroom. Friendly staff. Breakfast was limited but really good. Definitely will be back.

It was very clear that they have been gradually improving and upgrading their look inside. The outside should have been kept cleaner, dust, webs and debris around the railings and doorhinges. I was a littile disappointed by the lack of seating in the room and breakfast area. But the staff were absolutely awesome, friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our stay.

Two hundred dollars dollars a night for an under a hundred dollar room. There were cigarette burns in the comforter as well as human blood on the door jam, there were blood stains on the sheets. The place is very ghetto. The breakfastwasalso very lacking.

You get what you pay for: a cheap room right next to the bay. It's a bit of an older motel. The room was clean. The bed was firm and i slept well enough. Unfortunately, the room did smell a lot like cigarette smoke for a "non-smoking" room.

The pics on the website are either old, or the time vary greatly. It's basically a 2 star place, so I wasn't expecting much, nor do I set the bar super high when I just need a place to rest my head. I will say this, even though the room I stayed in was in much need out repair and maintenance, it was much cleaner than the Best Western down the road I've stayed in, in the past. Also great beach access, and not that crowded.

If you have children, don't stay here.

It's my first time at this place and I'm disappointed. The room they gave us was dirty, the bathroom was dirty, and the floor was muddy. The room had a bad smell. A very bad experience.

Meh at best

The room reaked of cigarettes. There is a god awful bright light by the pool area that just shines through the mediocre curtains. The best was horrible and the comfort or was the thickness of loose leaf paper. The tub was repaired and it wasn't a great job so it was slick as heck and there was hair all in it. It was only a single night but I did not sleep at all. Not sure how it gets good reviews because it's definitely dated and needs help.

DONT DO IT.

DO NOT DO IT. We had: vomit in the sink, the pool was murky and nasty, when I went to the first room the blankets on BOTH beds had semen on them. I was asked do I just want new blankets? We said no change the room. After that we went to the new room And that’s where we found the vomit. Only one bed had semen on it the other blanket had gravy stains. My friends room had flying roaches in it and a tv that didn’t work. We got out of there after a long day of travel at 2 am and just paid more to stay where there no dicey characters hanging outside of their rooms on the balcony. This is a MOTEL not a hotel. False advertising. Disgusting. I erased the semen photos on the bed but here is the vomit and the other annoying things.

Dirty hotel room

The outlet by the sink didn’t work. The bathroom didn’t have any air vents it was very hot trying to take a shower. There was sand on the floor and the floor was dirty. We had to ask for towels and trash bags every day we were there. The place smelled of pot. Sone shady looking people hanging around. We could hear the people in the room beside us talking and partying all night. Will never go there again.
