We upgraded to a superior room and were allocated one on the 6th floor initially The problem was the curtain was very difficult, almost impossible, to open and close because it was in two parts. Even the staff struggled. (And the view of the roof was hardly exciting either!). When closed it didn't keep the light out in the daytime, so we asked to be moved the next day. That was no problem and our room on the 5th floor was good - only negative point was that the room safe was at floor level so not that easy to access for older folk like us.
Food was very good, we ate one evening meal there too, and it was very conveniently located for the historical part of town. The river view from the dining room was nice.
