Not as good as it used to be!
When I checked in, I was charged too much as I had already put a deposit in online. Richie at the front desk tried to convince me that they had no knowledge of the deposit and it was likely a hotels.com convenience fee. Was not the case. I showed him my deposit and it finally got fixed when owner Gee got involved. I also did not like that the maid service decided to access my room on the first evening while I was away. I had no card to put on my door to state I didn't want this and went to front desk for one. Rooms need an upgraded: couch was ripped and in stained condition. shower handles loose, pressure was poor. There was an old shrimp tail by the trash under the sink. Did like the fridge being clean. And there used to be washer/dryer units on all floors... No bar on rooftop any longer and no restaurant either (the restaurant used to be good). pool chaises faded. Gee got things right at the end, but all in all no where near it used to be. There also used to be a garage attendant so not just anyone could walk off the street and go in the elevator to access any floor/room. Not secure.
