Stayed here for two nights in August and had a great time. We didn’t do the breakfast but we did dinner one night and it was great (I had the vegetable soup, highly recommend!). Only con was the radiator seemed to be on and it wasn’t hot enough for that

Very clean room, spacious and a very polite, friendly and warm host. The family running the guesthouse does everything with love and you can see that! Breakfast is a great. Only thing, maybe a kettle could be handy. I'd love to make a coffee and hot water can help with that.

Amazing service and clean

Absolutely amazing! We had a 3 guest accommodation which turned out to be the top floor unit with amazing views from our private balcony. We stepped outside and saw snow covered mountains (in July). We arrived after dinner but the wonderful ladies made us a quick delicious dinner. Breakfast was a buffet that satisfied even our picky little ones appetite. The road to get there is a little off the beaten track but well worth the effort. We highly recommend this place!

Got a nice little cottage. The place is pretty remote on a dirt road. Which was part of the appeal of it. Ate dinner there (food was ok). Service was great. Everyone I encountered there seemed really focused on service. The cottage itself was fairly basic. No TV but had wifi. The shower was awkwardly in the bathroom.

Nous avons pas aimé

Hôtel un peu éloigné de la route principale. Il faut faire plusieurs kilomètres sur une piste en gravier pour y accéder. Ça ne pose pas de problème si vous avez le bon véhicule, et un voiture classique passe aussi. Chambre très petite et peu confortable. Une seule bouilloire en équipement dans la chambre. Salle de bain peu confortable avec eau chaude limitée et surtout qui ne fonctionne pas correctement. Il faut comprendre qu’il faut ouvrir le robinet du lavabo pour avoir de l’eau chaude de la douche. C’est indiqué nulle part, ce n’est pas logique, d’autant plus que l’eau chaude est limitée à 50 L par chambre et que ça gaspille l’eau… Petite terrasse devant la chambre sans chaise ni table, dommage.

Buon posto, un po' lontano dalla civiltà, tipico cottage islandese, a 40 Min dalle terme di Vok e 5 Min in più per Egilstaddir, si può fare anche camping e c'è anche l'hotel. Consigliato

Hôtel au calme, dans la nature. Belle chambre avec vue sur la forêt. Douche pas tres pratique. Manque de rangements. Insonorisation mauvaise, on entend trop les bruits à travers la porte. Heureusement que c’etait plutot calme. Personnel tres accueillant. Pas de tele. Cafe et the gratuit mais dans la salle de restaurant. Service rapide au restaurant, plats bons. Hotel un peu éloigné d’Egilsstadir et accessible via une route en gravier.
