Lovely location in Leith

Great location in Leith, short walk to the tram stop. Quiet spot but with plenty of bars and restaurants nearby. Hotel bar is nice. Our room had really comfy beds, good blackout curtains. Plenty of storage and well kitted out. Towels big and pillows particularly soft and lovely. Good quality bed linen. Nice to be able to have buffet breakfast and have cooked food done to order. Staff in all areas of the hotel really pleasant and helpful. Only minor signs of age, some chipped furniture pieces in the room. Lots of USB points, but not USB C. One did not work but I only found out later in the day, so if you use the charger points, check before you leave.

At dinner, our server was very informational and educational about the food and the drink. We didn't do any shopping while there and we arrived by Uber, so no parking necessary. Highly recommend!
