This experience was terrible. First of all, Iโm a Marriott Gold member and Iโve stayed at two Marriott hotels within a month. The last one was at the JW Marriott in Minnesota, and the experience there was excellent. However, the stay in Little Rock was an absolute disaster.
First, when we parked in the valet parking area, no one came to greet or assist us. We had to call an employee ourselves, and then he had to call someone else over to ask if we needed parking.
Then, during check-in, the staff had a sour attitude the whole time. They didnโt even ask if I was a memberโI had to bring it up myself. They also didnโt explain any of the member benefits. When I asked if I could check out a bit later, they actually said, โYouโre not,โ but then added that I could request a 2 PM check-out.
The room they gave us was the last one at the end of the hallway, and cleaning staff were constantly coming and going nearby. Speaking of that, the hotel had terrible soundproofingโwe were woken up every time someone opened or closed a door. In the middle of the night, something fell in the bathtub, and the fridge made a loud banging noise.
Overall, it was a very disappointing experience.
