Milena and her husband are truly wonderful people who shared their little gem with anyone who stays over and you just don’t want to leave. This place is truly special I strongly recommend. I have travel all over the world and this place had the best hospitality and food for a reasonable price. We extend our stayed and can’t wait to be back again :)

My girlfriend and I were there to enjoy a peaceful couple of nights with a comfortable room. The rooms were individual cabins so there were no noisy neighbors. It was very satisfying. The owners were most gracious. We are thinking of moving to Costa Rica. If we did, we would love having them as friends. Maybe even neighbors!

LOVELY location tucked away on hillside overlooking Lake Arenal. Individual bungalows are chic, comfortable and private. Hosts are super friendly and helpful. Breakfast included-delicious. We also had dinner here one night and it was excellent. As an avid birder, I spent a lot of time on our balcony in amazement at the sheer number of birds and the morning birdsong. Used as a base for local day trips and to Arenal Volcano and Monteverde. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The panoramic view of Lake Arenal is amazing and can be enjoyed from the bed, the sitting area, or the deck. Ana and her staff served the most delicious breakfast each morning. The room was very comfortable and was nicely made up each day while we were out exploring. There are a few restaurants and small shops within walking distance, down a dirt road at the bottom of the hill. We rented a car at the airport in San Jose, and I think it might be tricky to get around without one as this is a fairly remote spot (in a good way). La Fortuna is about a 40 minute drive away; we explored the town, visited the Tabacon hot springs (there are many others depending on your tastes), and did excursions to the Mistico hanging bridges, La Fortuna Waterfall, and Arenal Volcano lava fields. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a scenic, private, peaceful and welcoming spot (and some amazing food) away from the commotion of town.

This was the most lovely stay I've ever had in a hotel. Ever. It was amazing from the view to the accommodations to the staff. The owner is welcoming and happy to make your stay comfy. Just be aware that this location is very remote. Bring whatever you need in the way of food and drinks. Only breakfast is open. There are a few restaurants down the big hill but within walking distance that satisfied our want for wine and dinner. Overall you just can't beat this price for what this place offers. It was incredible.

Our stay was like being in paradise. The hotel is made up of super modern bungalows nestled on a hilltop with windows on three sides, a beautiful breeze and a large balcony with chairs for lounging. We had the most spectacular views of Lake Arenal - sipping wine at sunset and drinking coffee at sunrise, all while listening to birds and watching fireflies. The food was out of this world - gourmet meals were prepared by the European trained professional chef at an open concept restaurant. The owners were delightful - making tour recommendations, providing great conversation, wonderful coffee and beautiful fresh cut flowers in the room. I would definitely go back - it exceeded all expectations!

These bungalows are awesome! Super clean, comfortable and they look exactly like the photos. The view from your private deck overlooks Lake Arenal as well as a ranch with cows grazing during the day. The owners are some of the nicest people I’ve met. The food was delicious and I highly recommend the tenderloin! You will need 4x4 to get up the hill. No air conditioning (it’s not needed) and no TV! Prepare to unplug and enjoy the beauty from your bed or large deck. Star gazing at night os unbelievable! Not suitable for children. We look forward to going back!

Unique place to stay, sensational uninterrupted views over Lake Arenal. Wake up to the sound of howler monkeys in the trees outside and sit on your deck in the evening watching flocks of parrots. We stayed in Pod 1 - recommend as has trees closest so you can see the birds right next to you. Amazing hosts Ana and Bastien, immaculate cleaning and care and attention to your guest experience is evident in all the thoughtful touches. Delicious breakfasts and Ana will also cook you dinner on request (highly recommend). 3 local restaurants within walking distance, however car is essential to reach activites (do not miss the Venado Caverns!)

The view is absolutely amazing and we loved the little secluded bungalow. The owners are so friendly and informative. The breakfast is amazing, it’s a 4 course meal and different each day. You start with a parfait, then a specialty pancake, the main course is eggs and a specialty side (empanadas, etc.) and then juice, definitely fills you up for an adventurous hike. I would definitely recommend this place. Almost forgot you have a special wake up call from the howler monkeys around 5:15 a.m.

The property was absolutely beautiful and peacefully quiet. The resort overlooked a stunning lake, making for a breathtaking view. While it may not be the most kid-friendly spot, the owner’s friendly cats kept my little ones entertained! The hosts were incredibly warm and welcoming, making our stay even more enjoyable! 🐒
