Lovely manor hotel in Orbec

A lovely quirky and utterly charming bijou hotel in Orbec, an ideal overnight stop for longer journeys south. Very quiet clean room with a full continental breakfast in a beautiful dining room. The owners gave us a very warm welcome and are absolutely delightful.

We stayed here as a stopover en route to Calais and were so glad we did. The hosts were so lovely and welcoming, they helped us find a wonderful crepery in the town and made sure we were comfortable. The rooms were beautiful and we would gladly have stayed longer. Breakfast was also superb. Cannot recommend enough. Beautiful property and 5 star hosts.

Un lieu plein de charme et chargé d'histoire

La demeure est splendide et magnifiquement entretenue. Le propriétaire vous accueille en vous livrant des explications et anecdotes historiques. La chambre est très spacieuse, décorée avec goût et originalité. Les matériaux utilisés pour refaire les salles de bains (il y en a 2 dans la suite, très pratique lorsqu'on voyage en famille) sont de qualité. Le jardin est splendide. Nuit au calme, réveil au son des oiseaux. Superbe. Localisation idéale pour visiter le pays d'Auge et entre autres le sanctuaire de Lisieux. Le propriétaire est très affable et regorge de conseils précieux sur la région (parmi nos coups de cœur, le château de Saint Germain de Livet et l'abbaye de Saint-Pierre-en-Auge). Le petit déjeuner est agréable mais gagnerait à inclure des produits laitiers locaux. Dans l'ensemble, un lieu à recommander, plein de charme et chargé d'histoire...

A fantastic overnight stay. From the moment you enter the large wooden gates into the courtyard, there is feel of grandeur and opulence about this place. Magnificent building in peaceful grounds with well furnished and spacious rooms. Comfy bed, fluffy pillows and extra little touches that make the stay extra special. Fabulous breakfast catering to all tastes, including the children! Wonderful hosts providing the highest level of attention. Would definitely recommend.

The owners are very friendly and welcoming. The property itself holds lots of history, we stayed for one night in the luxury suite which was very spacious and clean. There are a few restaurants to choose from in this quaint town. Breakfast was very nice and plentiful.

An amazing B&B

A fantastic stay in this beautiful and historic property. The owners are so friendly and welcoming, each room is individually decorated, despite the 34C heat our room was cool and so comfortable. Breakfast in the Manoir was beautifully presented and you could not ask for more choice and better quality. the Croissants and toasted brioche were delicious. M. et Mme Dubois could not do more to please you and make your stay one of the most memorable. This was our second visit and we will be back.

Found this little gem while planning our holiday trip. It is conveniently close to the A86 in a small town in a pittoresk old building. Nicely decorated and modernized room. Very friendly owners. Great breakfast. Parking nearby. Recommend!

Découverte de la Normandie - Pays d'Auge.

Une demeure magnifique très bien entretenue par un couple de propriétaires charmants et très sympathiques. Une très belle adresse en Normandie - Pays d'Auge Sud. Les chambres sont spacieuses, propres et la literie est confortable. Si vous passez à proximité, arrêtez-vous, vous ne le regretterez pas. Bravo et merci pour votre accueil et votre humour.
