Read online that there is no parking at the hotel. Closest parking lot is a short walk around the corner. You will have to pay to park and it is very busy making it difficult to find a spot sometimes.
The location of the “hotel” couldn’t be better; right in the heart of the city center with lots of shops and pubs all around. It a very lively area.
Room is very small. Barely fitting a double bed with space to shimmy around it. There is no where to place a suitcase while closed, forget trying to open it to remove clothes.
Check in is at the bar and there is no elevator so expect to carry your luggage up the stairs. Staff was very helpful leading us to our room and handing over the key. That’s where we were advised that there was live music until 2am each night. When we questioned it, we were told that the website says there is live music. (But no times listed) Unfortunately, Hotels.com doesn’t say anything about live and VERY LOUD music. We were also told that “it shouldn’t be too loud”
The music was SO LOUD that we heard every word and could sing along if we weren’t trying to sleep. The deep base of the music echoed through the room. We had a fan on, the tv on, and the fan in the bathroom on to try to drown out the music. None of that worked.
If you would like to get some sleep to be ready for a day of exploring, you should not stay here. Although the room was clean and modernized, it really was just a glorified hostel.
