Advertised as a 4* but itโs a 2 at best. Small beds, clearly not doubles. Small tv. Curtains that donโt fit the walls. No Ingredients to make cocktails. Dirty carpets. Hand wash for shower gel. Never ever again.

Pleasant stay
I had a pleasant stay at the OYO hotel. Room was clean and over looked the sea views. My only criticism would be the doors. A key pad is used to unlock and lock the doors, you could not lock the door manually from the inside. Also these locks were quite noisy so whenever someone on the corridor was unlocking or locking there door you could hear it. For that extra piece of mind I would have liked to have been able to unlock my door from the inside manually rather than relying on an electrical lock.

Don't gamble with your holidays, stay elsewhere
Stay somewhere else! This has to be the worse customer service I received in years. This hotel cancelled one room, in a two room booking, ten days in advance, throwing their hands in the air and claiming that they've authorised hotels.com to refund me when they didn't. Don't waste your time trying to call them, no one cares in the hotel, or in their customer service line. Neither I nor hotels.com could get an answer from them.

Dirty and small
The photos make it look 100% better than it is. In reality tiny rooms, substandard uncomfortable beds, filthy showers with mold.

Room miniscule.
Very clean,excellent staff, breakfast very good .Room was very small for a standard double, god knows what their compact double is like! The shower was excellent, don't think that l have ever seen a square shower that large.

The bathroon had sewage smell. We could not stay in it the 3 nights so we had to leave. The staff where friendly. But the room needs care taken to it. Cups where stained. The room has marks all over the walls. Such a shame as the main area down stairs in restaurant and as you go in looks soo nice.

Standard rooms are substandard
Uncomfortable beds - mattresses need replacing.
code entry - no way of locking the room whilst inside as others may have code, also not useful if your dyslexic,
mould in bathroom.
Staff that clearly think weโre in the 1950s and chose to only to speak to my boyfriend despite the booking being in my name.

Great stay in Newquay.
The hotel location is perfect. On sea front and a few minutes walk into town. The rail station is only minutes away too.
The hotel was quiet. My room,small, but everything was there. I was very comfortable in the room.
I would certainly choose to stay there again. I had a lovely break and enjoyed Newquay very much.
