"Amazing accommodation for the affordable price in the center of district 1! This place was more than we could have hoped for. It is walkable to nearly everything you want to see. The hotel staff helped us with airport pickup, calling a car to further districts and our heavier luggage’s. The buffet is incredible! We still think about the food and coffee there til this day. I highly recommend this place!"
"Lovely hotel that feels cozy despite the over the top décor. The views from the rooms and the lounge are amazing. The spa is excellent; the 4 hands massage was awesome. The service and the cocktails are outstanding.Housekeeping can be forgetful and not replenishing everything but this can be fixed with a quick call. The only complaint is that the in room A/C is smelly and musty, creating a very humid atmosphere."
"There was a slight problem with the wifi in our room but the General Manager Mr Trish Dang Khoa quickly gave us another room. He took excellent care of us during our whole stay and made sure our transportation to Dalat was as easy as possible. The complementary afternoon high tea was wonderful! The only negative comments would be that coffee in the morning wasn’t to our taste nor hot enough, and that the fact that the hotel offers access to the relatively small swimming pool to non-guests. Backpackers from nearby hostels take advantage of this, the price includes towels and a free drink, and it gets a bit crowded and loud for hotel guests."
"Au Lac Charner Hotel is a small boutique property a few minutes away from central Saigon. It is a very neat and friendly hotel where your wish becomes the command of the friendly staff. The rooms, while smallish, are well furnished and comfortable. The most endearing quality of this hotel is the pleasantness of the staff, especially Kent at the front desk and Lewis in the restaurants."
