Breakfast was good, simple yet richer than in other places. I especially appreciated the assortment of fresh fruits, avocado and different types of bread offered.
The room was spacious enough, and the view of the mountains and the river was stunning. The shower was big, and the water stream strong. In general, the room was clean, however an unpleasant smell dumpened the experience.
The location is great, right at the road leading to the butterfly farm (don't miss it!) and up to Machu Picchu, so if you intend to do it by foot (and you definitely should consider at least going downhill by foot and save yourself yet another queue for the bus!), you will be a little bit closer to the enticing shower and rest after your trip.
A word of caution, though: noise isolation is very weak. The busses to Machu Picchu start running at around 5 am, and will wake you up. You will be hearing everything happening outside or in the adjacent room; that is, unless the stunning river just outside your window, depending on the season, will drown anythong else with its roar.
Overall, a nice stay.
