I’m from Sanderson and I always love coming into town to relax. Away from the crazy city. The stay was amazing. The only thing is maybe a mirror in the bigger rooms

Small town charm

The office manager was so pleasant, the room was clean and the bed wasn’t too uncomfortable. Over all it was a great little town stay

Matt our host was very friendly and welcoming and the whole property was very clean and well maintained. An oasis in the middle of nowhere and a great stop over option. Breakfast is available in the room, chocolate milk and chocolate rice crispies - but lots of other good stuff too.

10/10 Exceptional

Small motel in excellent condition. Nice and clean. Check in easy and staff was very pleasant. There are no food options except at the gas station across the street as the town in small. This was a good stopping point an hour or so outside of Big Bend National Park.
Steven, 1-night trip

8/10 Very good

It’s a double bed, not queen. Old place…..but it was clean and comfy. A breakfast of sorts is complementary in room. Nice retro fridge and micro. BBQ and picnic area are nice.
Jeffery, 1-night trip

6/10 Good

Very outdated and oatmeal and cold cereal free breakfast only
Phyllis Snow, 1-night trip

Okay

There are not many hotels in this area so this was it. The internet was not working so I used my phone's hotspot. The mattress was not real comfortable. Someone tried to get into my vehicle during the night but the alarm scared them off.

Great place.

Very 1950's vibe. Updated and clean. There was a bench in front of the room so you could sit outside. I arrived early and the owner came to the office to check me in inspite of being early. The rooms have Refrigerated Air.😃 A.K.A. air conditioning. 😁 I would certainly stay again.
Mary Ann, 1-night trip

8/10 Very good

Only Motel in the area. Very basic, but enough for a night of sleep. Our shower drain is clogged. The included breakfast is 1 bottle of water, one small milk, 2 packs of oatmeal and coffee. Looks like the room has been renovated.
Celia, 1-night trip

All good
Paula, 1-night trip

10/10 Exceptional

Super retro feel. Adorable and affordable. Stayed here on our way to Big Bend. They were very helpful with my VERY late check in as this was a spur of the moment trip and we had to travel 8hrs after work. Loved the down home feel, owners are sweet as pie and very helpful with any questions. Tiny tiny town so very limited on food options but they pointed us to Ferguson Motors a little local coffee shop that also serves some breakfast options. Get there early as it's first come first serve for food. Overall had a wonderful time here and enjoyed a piping hot shower after a full day of hiking in big bend! Be aware, big bend is about 2 hrs from here but it's one of the only places to stay *near* the park last minute.
Skye, 2-night trip

2/10 Poor

Moth infested.

The hotel is infested with moths! There are moths in the room and moths swarming outside. Flying moths are harmless, but their larvae deliver painful bites. The entire hotel needs to be treated for this infestation. Otherwise this would be an OK cheap motel. There is no breakfast.
