We were very disappointed in our stay. The room was late being ready and we had to wait in the lobby even though we actually showed up after the check in time. The bed only had one single comforter for the queen size bed and two people. We wanted to turn on the fan as the room was very stuffy, but the fan was so grimy and almost disgusting, the night table beside the bed was broken and unusable, and overall the room was not well cared for. The walls are very thin and not noise resistant at all. We could hear people talking and using the bathroom etc. It is quite a walk from downtown. While we were aware, it seemed further than advertised. In general, not a great stay!

There were people standing in front of the building waiting to get instructions for entering, and as I’d had the same problem hours ahead of them, I’d say there was a problem with check in. Everything was ideal and the value for the money was too good. In today’s conditions o haven’t seen many better locations than this. The owners were wonderful and very kind in answering all kinds of questions like local guides

The first room I got had a terrible smell of being smoked in. The staff kind ly helped me to get another room that was okej in every way. Very basic but had everything you needed. And the second room was clean without smoke in every way.

Clean, close to city centre and very quiet. I'm not sure we got the room we asked for (basic apartment), we had a small studio flat. Hence the not full stars. Nevertheless the place was fairly enjoyable - maybe it could do more communication-wise.

This place is not as advertised! Small, dirty, no service to the rooms. Shower has poor drainage, closet door is smaller than the size of the hanger, coffee pods but no creamer, bedside light doesn't work- just an unprofessional place. Value for the money is outrageous. The worst part was the hygiene. As soon as we entered the room, there were 3-5 flying ants in the shower. There were other people's hair in the toilet and on the bed. Every day, we found new flying ants in the shower. The staff gave us the wrong key. We couldn't open the door when we got back around 9 PM, and the office closes at 6 PM. Luckily, we had a SIM card to contact the staff. Someone came to give us the correct key after 15 minutes, but it would be tough for travelers without a Swiss phone. The door lock was broken, so even with the right key, it was hard to open and close the door. The ground floor room was stuffy, and the curtains didn't block the light. It got very sunny from 7 AM, and there was a lot of noise from people coming and going. It wasn't soundproof at all. The hotel's location is great, with many restaurants nearby and a 15-minute walk to many day tour meeting points. Maybe this price is cheap for Switzerland, but for this value, I wouldn't stay here again.
