The hotel was overall good—great location, well-maintained facilities, and friendly staff. However, the condition of the room was a bit disappointing. There was noticeable dust on the lamps and in the corners, the drainage in both the sink and shower was poor, and the lighting was quite dim, making the room feel darker than expected.

The front desk staff is friendly and helpful to guide us how to find places to shop and eat. The hotel is clean and beautiful. Our family had a pleasant time at GLAD.

Thank you to the staff at the front desk especially. The hotel is clean, so convenient for the subway, breakfast buffet was so varied and delicious, and the food at the Japanese restaurant on the top floor was also fantastic.

It’s very convenient, it’s just outside the metro and bus station. The location is very quiet there are many cafe around and also a general store which is very handy but only accepts cards.

Great for distance from Downtown Seoul

The Glad hotel is a great place to stay if you don’t want to be in downtown Seoul. You can catch the metro nearby but otherwise there aren’t too many attractions within walking distance. The deluxe king is a great size!

Amazing place to stay. Great location. Across the street from public transit. Many restaurants near the hotel. Very comfortable bed. Everything was perfect except i arrived late and asked if there was something nearby where i could get something. They said everything was closed. There are two 24 hour markets around the corner. I recommend this hotel

The Blue House is literally within view when you walk out of the hotel. The subway is also right there in front of the hotel. The staff are really nice and the hotel beds are really comfortable.

Excellent Stay

Staff are friendly, fast/efficient and helpful. Subway station is right outside the front door for line 9. No wash cloths for American tourist so bring your own; they do provide bath sponges. The heat and air are controlled by the hotel so the room was warm but we requested a fan and the windows open so that helped. Water bottles are provided daily for free and cleaning staff were great! We enjoyed our trip and would stay again!
