Pros:
• The resort itself is absolutely beautiful—well-maintained grounds and stunning views.
• Our room was incredibly spacious and comfortable, which made a big difference during our stay.
• Romane and Carlyle at the swim-up bar were simply amazing! They made our days fun and memorable with their great service.
• Most of the staff at the breakfast buffet were genuinely sweet and attentive.
• The lady at the omelet stand was fantastic—quick, friendly, and made a delicious breakfast.
• One morning, a server even went out of her way to bring us fresh coconuts, which was such a nice touch.
Cons: contrary to our previous experiences (we have been to 15 different countries) the food quality was better at the buffets than at the restaurants that required reservations. And in general the food was subpar.
• Unfortunately, there were many rude employees throughout the resort. Not just indifferent, but the kind who make you feel like you’re a burden just for asking a simple question or making a request. We’re super easygoing travelers, so this really stood out.
• The nighttime entertainment left a lot to be desired. If you’re looking for a resort where you can enjoy a fun show or dancing in the evening, this probably isn’t the place.
• While the beach itself is gorgeous, there was zero drink service offered while we were lounging there—not even once. It felt like a big missed opportunity and took away from what could have been a more relaxing experience.
