Was a nice dorm. I was comfortable the whole time and was impressed by bathroom facilities.

Happy Surprise on Bowery

Nolita Hostel is in a great vibrant neighborhood, where you cannot be bored night or day. Rooms are "pods" constructed with beadboard & lattice ceilings.. bed very comfortable, towel, sheets & blanket very clean. Silence rule exists in the pod areas but you can hear other guests clicking in/out of their rooms & front desk offers guests earplugs/eye masks. Shared kitchens, utensils, fridge, & filtered water dispenser were clean & tidy as were the cozy common rooms. Had trouble with the online check-in but Steve at the front desk was wonderfully helpful & patient getting me registered. I'd definitely use the Nolita for another 1 or 2 night downtown stay.

Short but Sweet Stay

Loved it! Cheap, clean, showers were nice & hot despite reviews saying otherwise. Only stayed for 1 night and would stay again!

Will stay again

Cheap and cheerful. I found it to be easy and in an excellent location, people were friendly and the space was remarkably quiet day and night time.

I had the worst experience at this hostel, I was in room 1 which was connected to the door to the hallways every time someone came in and out it slammed shut and rocked my cubicle. It was so loud I got no more than min of sleep. Seemed to be someone moving in and out every 15 min. The toilets were a joke too, 1 cubicle for over 50 rooms and 2 showers and 2 sinks and one of each was broken! I didn’t sleep or enjoy my experience and deserve a full refund

Great, stayed 6 nights. All was quiet except for the first night, someone with definite issues walking the place. More than a great deal in Manhattan for a solo female. Wonderful subway access, area

It's a cupboard with no ceiling but clean. The lack of ceiling means that it is not completely quiet, and the bed is more of a cot.

Nolita Express Experiment

My Stay was OK, served it's purpose one night stay. It was an experiment and the location was close to a business fair. A little stuffy and warm too! Noisy truck traffic.... double pane windows would help. The beds were short I'm 5,8 ft and my feet hit the wall. Mattress old and little support.
Great Neighborhood restaurants

Two nights

Two night stay. Great for the price. However, your experience will depend upon the people staying in the rooms around you. There are no ceilings, so you hear everything. 1st night was rough. Person behind me was snacking and vaping. It was noisy and smelly. Person in front of me was talking on the phone at 12:30am. Second night was better, but noises still woke me up.

Great for solo travel

It was a really nice place and a great location. I thoroughly enjoyed it and thought that the staff were really helpful. Don’t get me wrong, it isn’t a luxury stay but it did the job, and I can’t complain! Would recommend to solo travellers who are looking to visit New York on a budget.

The weekend girlies followed the quiet time hours better than the weeksay girlies. Staff was friendly and the place was clean. I stayed in a double bed room with a window. I’d stay in a similar room again.

I’d like to thank that Nolita express for offering an affordable option that’s clean and efficient and secure.

This is a very nice place to stay. Very clean, quiet. It was great having a kitchen because prices in restaurants are so high these days. I was able to have a good time with my friends when I was out, because I knew I was saving money eating at the Nolita a few times a day.
Kraig, 7-night trip

The place has good staff, room is small and shared bathroom has small showers. But for the price and location its really good.

The staff was great! The cleanliness was ok...restocking TP seemed to be an issue The noise level was a bit too much at some points The outlets were TERRIBLE. My electronics kept falling out!

Nolita express

During all interactions I had with the staff everyone was super welcoming and respectful. The building itself had a cool atmosphere and the room I stayed in was clean. Although You can hear pretty much everything going on around you as there is no roof to your individual room, most people were respectful and kept noise down
