This was such a unique and interesting building with a lot of character. We were looking for something in Florence that was away from the hustle and bustle of the tourists, and this location delivered. It is a bit of a walk to things (only about 15-20 minutes) but was completely worth it. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The shower was awesome. There were some steps up to the main lobby, but we knew about those and they weren't a problem. Check-in was very easy and communication was excellent. The staff was simply amazing - so friendly and helpful. We will definitely be staying here again if we return to Florence.

The place was cute I liked the rooms and the area was quiet and walkable. Just be aware there are a lot of stairs to go up and no lift. If you stay here I’d only bring a backpack or duffel bag. Pack light. My shower wasn’t too clean when I got there but other than that the room was great

Room was clean and nice. USB socket near the headboard didn’t quite work though, outlets are not placed around the bed - better to bring extra cable or portable battery if you’d like to use electric devices with charging when lying on the bed.

The staff were excellent, and I feel the price takes the stairs into account, but I feel the mattress could be upgraded. Both my partner and I were uncomfortable and sore after our 6 day stay. I hope the owner can invest in new beds. Thanks!

Good Enough

Stayed in room 5. Pros - safe location, easy check in, extremely friendly and helpful staff, clean. Cons - up 4 flights of stairs. Location isn’t great, quite far from the main attractions and restaurants. Poor ventilation - the entire room would fog up from the shower & the ceiling fan was not strong enough to get rid of it even after running it for hours … everything was always damp feeling. There was a window which was directly out to the patio so we didn’t feel comfortable leaving the curtain open because other guests could look right in.

Overall Gogò Petit is a nice place to stay at night. The owner is lovely and was happy to answer any of our questions! However, we did have an issue with our room being left unlocked everyday after being cleaned/restocked. As people who travelled from very, very far- we have all of our important documents, ID’s, and money in our bags, we did not feel comfortable knowing our things could have been taken by anyone else in the hotel throughout the day. The wifi worked great- if that’s something crucial to anyone reading this! It is not as centrally located as the advertisement says, it was maybe a 20 minute walk, but still close enough for the price. We did have very loud construction outside of our window every morning. You have to walk up a few flights of stairs to get to the hotel- so be aware just for anyone who may have accessibility needs (however there is a small elevator one you get up, between the hotels 1st and second floors). This hotel worked for us just for a few nights.

Fint lille hotel tæt på sporvogn linje 1 og floden. Gåafstand til byen. Der er kun plads til 8 til morgenmad af gangen, men det gik fint alligevel. Der er kun trapper op til receptionen. Hotellet kommunikerer helst via Snapchat.
