Quite an expensive alternative given the overall experience. Challenging to interact with the personnel who seemed to be mostly uninterested. Absolutely no privacy in the bathroom; big window facing the parking lot/street. Smelled like old sweat in the bathroom. Parking fee is an absolute robbery on the backside, despite free parking 2 blocks away. I forgot my Sony camera battery charger and tried to contact them multiple times, but they ignored me.

Mini Zimmer, Mini Badezimmer wie im Krankenhaus mit Duschvorhang. Total veraltet! Spinnenweben überm Bett, ekeliges Kopfteil dirwkt am Bett, kein funktionierender Kühlschrank der noch total versifft war. Angeblich keine freien Parkplätze.....aber nachts steht der Kurzzeitparkplatz komplett mit Autos voll. Teppich auf den Gängen uralt und versifft.Glastüre hört sich beim schließen nach einer Bohrmaschine an.

Leider gibt es nur den Meerblick in den oberen Etagen, schade dass das in der Zimmerbuchung nicht berücksichtigt wird. Die Parkplatzsituation ist nicht optimal, da es nur beschränkt Parkplätze zum reservieren gibt und rund um das Hotel nur sehr schwierig was an Parkplätzen zu finden ist.

Ein wenig Licht, viel Schatten: Personal am Empfang und beim Frühstück sehr freundlich! Die Betten fanden wir bequem. Ansonsten: alles ziemlich in die Jahre gekommen. Das Zimmer 320 mit Balkonblick war eine einzige Zumutung. Das Zimmer selbst koplett verstaubt. Dort wurde sicher seit Monaten nicht mehr richtig gereinigt. Der Balkon voller Hundehaare. Das Bad mit Schimmel an den Silikonfugen nur so übersät. Waschbecken geplatzt. Der Außenrolle elektrisch geht nicht. Alles rausgebrochen an den Führungsrollen. Dafür voller Strom auf einer herunterhängenden 230V Leitung dort drauf. Diese Hotel ist ein absoluter Horror gewesen. Nie mehr wieder.

Das zimmer war sauber,ausser auf dem Sessel,der da stand waren noch viele Haare zu finden.Der Parkplatz ist sehr eng und für knapp 18 Euro die nacht,ein sehr teurer Parklatz. Das Hotel ist in die Jahre gekommen,vier Sterne sind das keine mehr, einer vielleicht. Die Rezeption sah schon sehr heruntergekommenen aus,spinnweben hingen von der Decke. Um mal eine nacht zu übernachten ist es ok,für länger aber nicht wirklich.
So sieht kein 4 Sterne Hotel aus

Das Hotel ist in die Jahre gekommen. Die Zimmer waren renoviert, aber das Bad...Naja... Wir hatten ein Zimmer Straße. Trotz geschlossem Fenster ab den frühen Morgen sehr laut.

Great week at Lake Constance

Lake Constance is a wonderful area for vacations. The Plaza Hotel in Friedrichshafen is located a bit outside of downtown. Its a hotel with breakfast only. No restaurants nearby. Parking was a bit of a challenge at times, more cars than spaces. Breakfast buffet was excellent every day. The service was pleasant/friendly.

Schon beim Check in gab es Probleme zwecks des Parkplatzes, welcher auf der Rückseite des Hotels im begrenzten Maß vorhanden ist. Um auf den Parkplatz zu gelangen, muss zunächst der Parkplatz bezahlt werden, auch wenn man dafür noch keine Quittung erhält.. Eine Quittung erhält man erst auf Nachfrage beim auschecken. Es ist nicht besonders modern, viele Einrichtungsgegenstände sind schon in die Jahre gekommen, und insgesamt wirkt der Lobby und Essens sehr altbacken. Gerade im Frühstücksbereich sieht man viele Wasserschäden, die Markise hat ihre besten Tage schon hinter sich, beim Frühstück fehlen solche Sachen wie Orangensaft, Nutella… Ansonsten ist das Frühstück ausreichend. Die Zimmer sind klein und zweckmäßig eingerichtet, in unserem Zimmer fehlte der Safe, und im Bad lagen schwarze, lange Haare. Als besonders ruhig konnten wir das Hotel auch nicht erleben.

It was a very good hotel with this price, rewe is in vicinity and you can buy everything you need. The only thing I did not like was some unreal explanations about room, based on room description it was supposed to have a partial view to bodensee, but was not met, and bathroom facilities was not complete.

Tassen für Kaffee im Zimmer waren schmierig. Die Station für Kaffee im Zimmer war komplett eingestaubt. Im Zimmer war ein schlechter Duft, besonders im Bad. Hotel schon etwas älter. Obwohl im Vorfeld wegen Parkmöglichkeiten telefoniert würde, war kein Parkplatz frei. Wir mussten einige Meter weiter auf einem Parkplatz parken. Dies war jedoch nur abends möglich. Hotel sehr weit vom Zentrum entfernt.

Also die 4 Sterne hatte dieses Hotel vielleicht vor 10Jahren, mittlerweile sind es unsrer Ansicht nach nur noch 2 Sterne. Sehr abgewohnt, das Wasser kam braun aus der Dusche, sauber war es, Personal war freundlich. Die Parkschranke funktionierte nicht, dafür 17€ /Tag ist viel zuviel! Frühstück war okay, aber wie gesagt auf keinen Fall 4Sterne!

The rating and cost are way too high. It’s clean and otherwise nice but the front staff is rude. I asked THREE times for a room cleaning over my 3 night stay and it wasn’t done. Even left door tag requesting clean which staff removed and still didn’t clean. Would never staff here again.
