Yes hotel is a bit outdated but if you can oversee that the rest is great! Location is great! Rates are great! And the owner is so nice and accommodating.

Grounds are in terrible need of repair (asphalt, sign, paint, walkways, stairs) Room was more along the lines of an older Motel 6

Great quality for price

My partner stayed there at the end of the John Muir Trail. I joined her on the second night Way above expectations for a 115$ night in a motel. The owner is very nice and went above and beyond when we had requests. There is no breakfast mentioned on hotels.com but there is a small breakfast available to grab at the lobby (bagels, coffee,..). The cleanliness is not perfect but good for the price. Rooms are comfy and soacious. I would definitely come back!!

Good property with a comfortable bed. Was given a complimentary upgrade to a king bed which was very appreciated! Great front desk staff. Room was huge. Good for price

An older property, my blanket comfort was dirty but I just peeled off and slept with the sheet.soft spots on floor, was on the 2nd floor

We certainly got what we paid for at this property. Although the view was beautiful, this was the dirtiest property I have ever stayed at. There was mildew in the shower and the towels were visibly stained.

They really need to get that jacuzzi back up and running!
Tony, 2-night trip

2/10 Poor

The bathroom was not clean when we arrived. It had hairs everywhere and you could find toothpaste residue on the mirror.
Rosa, 1-night trip

Room with 2 queens very spacious. Equipped with everything you need for a brief stay. Walking distance to village and other dinning options. Great for a quick ski trip get away. Nothing fancy but definitely convenient.

6/10 Good

how is this place still standing lol

this property honestly looks like it is an abandoned motel with the exterior falling apart, terrible paint, extremely old and moldy carpet in the halls.. and then in the room the floors arent clean, the window had no screen and had folded pieces of paper and sugar packets stuck in the areas where the window would otherwise have cracks in them.. it is a cheap rate but was not expecting such a run down property. The man at the front desk was very friendly but this place is not worth staying at if you plan on doing anything other than sleeping and showering.

Not cleaned!! The sheets had hair and stains, the room floor has clearly not been cleaned as well as the tub. The room smelled like cup o noodles. The parking was pretty tight but not terrible if you have an SUV or small car - pretty tight for trucks. Also pretty sure there was mold on top of the shower in the bathroom. Overall 3/10 stay.
Siennas, 2-night trip

Mammoth Lakes is beautiful and I just wish I had more time to explore. Clean fresh air, hiking areas and just beautiful serene spots all around.

Pretty rough shape, but fine for passing through for a night. Good location
michael, 1-night trip

8/10 Very good

Some of the reviews here scared me, but it is a very doable place. We wanted to spend less money on our hotel and more exploring mammoth and eating out. If you’re used to really high end places, this may be out of your comfort zone. I grew up staying at similar places in Santa Cruz so this was perfect for us. It’s a killer location. It is pretty outdated but the room was very clean; freshly mopped, I really like how the room had all flooring instead of carpet. The people at the front desk were very nice. As long as the prices continue to stay low, I’d stay here again.
Blake, 4-night trip

6/10 Good

Nice big room. Wood floor non carpet. Bathroom need some update. Bed comfort was ok. Sofa bed was bad, lots of crumbs on it, and no bedsheet on it. So, I didn't let my kids sleep on it. We only stay for 1 night, so I didn't make further request. I think if I will return again, I would request to stay on 3rd floor. The floor above us, the guests walk back and forth NON STOP!! and we can hear the floor creaking noise all night and we didn't sleep too well because of that. There are trucks or construction vehicle in the middle of the night like 11pm-1am making loud engine noises ... But front desk manager was nice during check in and out.
