Standard Fairmont hotel, relies a lot on its “history” in order to charge high rates for what are essentially bog standard rooms. A good little stop off if your headed to the mountains, but don’t expect to be doing much in the surrounding area, Calgary is dead downtown most days, and this place is right in the middle of said dead zone.

The property is top notch for a quick visit or long term stay. Customer service is outstanding and rooms are so comfortable with beautiful products. Parking is a bit out of the way, confusing and costly but won’t prevent me coming again.
