The location is fabulous. Breakfast is delucious. I like the idea of 5'clock cake-fika. And even a light dinner served. This is my second time i stayed in the hotel and will stay again in a few days.

Great value property with super friendly staff

Excellent location with super friendly staff who can't do enough for you. Bonus of included evening meal and afternoon snack in price. Decor a bit tired in places but the price point is about right and the location makes up for it. 2 minute walk from drop off point of airport shuttle bus. Definitely worth paying for an upgraded room that looks out over the harbour for great views of the arctic cathedral. I was very happy with my stay here and will use again next time in Tromso.

Good to have included breakfast, tea with cake and light supper which made stay good value , although currently happening at sister hotel across the street it was not a problem. Great central location & rooms with view of the water. Great staff - all were helpful & efficient. The food was ok with the welcome afternoon tea & cake, particularly as many aurora tours started at 6pm, before the start of dinner service. Overall we would definitely recommend it. It is showing a little wear and tear in places, but not to the detriment of the overall feeling of the hotel. One little annoyance was the very limited space for putting away clothes; there was only hangers, a small (high) shelf above the hangers and one small drawer in the desk.

Teddy in the receprion was a very friendy guy and gave very good service. The same goes for the serving and cleaning staff. Beautiful view from the hotel room. Downtown but no traffic on the harbor.
