"A great friendly welcome we stayed here as we had visited Irazú volcano and Turrialba volcano as well as Guayabo national monument. Making a trip from one to the next…. Do not try to drive to Turrialba if you don’t have 4x4, local people told me the road, which I drove almost to the end, was FATAL… anyway that’s just a tip if that’s your plan. The hotel, lodge was fantastic. Our room spacious, comfortable and all we needed for an overnight stay, and womdeviews of the mountains around and a view...

"Nous avons réservé une chambre avec 2 lits double avec balcon vue sur les montagnes. Notre chambre avait 1 lit double et 2 lits superposés, aucune fenêtre ni balcon, et le dessus de notre porte n'était pas fermé donc on entend tous les bruits de l'hotel et de la ruelle.. C'est plus comme une auberge de jeunesse. L'air commune est très bien, belle vue, hamacs, 2 balcons. En pleine ville."

"This hotel is directly on busy street with a lot of trucks and buses coming day and night. So noice is disturbing. Additional problem: the restaurant. They just don’t know how to cook. We made an error by having a dinner there: the meet was oversalted and the fish was like rubber. "

"What a delight to be met by the owner José Alvarez, and then taken with our luggage up the steep hill to our cabin by his 4 wheel drive vehicle. The cabin was isolated and had a fabulous view of the forest and waterfall. The service was excellent and the food was fabulous at the restaurant. Josè is an amazing chef. Minor improvement to the room, there was nowhere to put our suitcases other than on the floor. We would have liked clothes hooks, suitcase stands and a small desk for writing. That...

"This property consists of 3 relatively new cabins located inside a secure gate beside to the main road that circles the beautiful Orosí valley. The cabins are surrounded by greenery including a giant stand of bamboo and orange trees from the family’s orchard, which smell delightful! The road is quite busy during the day but very quiet at night and we had no difficulty sleeping. The cabins themselves block most of the outside sound. There was plentiful hot water for the shower from the rooftop...

"What a terrific setting nestled in the mountains outside of Cartaga. The Tico style cabin had two bedrooms and a single bath with a great room containing the kitchen, dinning room and living room. I spent most of my time on the deck. Was clean and well maintained. "

"This hotel absolutely blew our minds. The 30 minute drive off road was very beautiful and at first made us a little nervous but quickly realized with 4 wheel drive its very easy and fun! Once we got there... We were blown away. The staff. The rooms. The food. THE PRICE. 10/10. The natural pool area to me might be one of the most beautiful places I've ever been in my entire life and literally put tears in our eyes. The amount of hiking, exploring, and outdoor activities could fill an entire week....
