"Great location that just next to the lake Suwa. Luckily we can enjoy the Sakura on the riverside through the window of our room. The service for breakfast and dinner is good and thanks for the recommendation of the staff, Yu, for going to see the Sakura in a castle park nearby. That’s amazing."

"Good, compact business hotel especially for the price. Older property but well maintained and room has all the amenities you’ll need (tea, kettle, mini-fridge, slippers, toothbrush + paste, comb, q-tips, etc.). Check in lady was great & explained everything. Hotel also provides printouts explaining things in english."

"A really old-fashioned Japanese onsen experience like nothing else. We ate in the Japanese restaurant one night and French the other evening. The food was fantastic. Rooms were comfortable but old fashioned. I would highly recommend the room with a private onsen - we saw tanuke (Japanese raccoon dogs) approach whilst we were bathing which was a really special experience. We hiked to the ridge (5 hours return) through a beautiful forest."
