This was a 1 night stay to travel to McDonald Observatory for a Star Watch party. This motel is nothing fancy but the staff are great. Foods and grocery store close by.

The price was inexpensive, but you get what you pay for. The pillows did not have pillowcases and there was no extra toilet paper even though there was just less than half of a roll present. The TV remote did not work well, and the room was not very clean. Other than that, it was fine.

I was just looking for a clean place to stay. When we arrived and walked in, there was a ring bell for service sign. We rang the bell twice and waited 10 minutes. The whole time there was what I will call “adult music” playing over the radio. It gave me a very uncomfortable feeling. We did not need up staying here

Well, the gentleman at the desk was very nice but my hot water did not work. The drain was clogged and the shower was full of hair. The bedspread was dirty. I slept in my clothes.

The room was dingy and missing a light bulb. It was relatively inexpensive and convenient since I was traveling through and not stopping. I wouldn't stay there if I wanted to stay more than one night and didn't have my dogs.

I prefer funky accommodations with personality over sterile corporate chains, but they should be scrupulously clean and well-maintained. Only at $10/night could this place possibly be worth booking, even as a last resort.
