Had a great stay. Checking and out was easy and straight forward. Room was clean and a good side with a lovely ensuite shower room. Modern and light and airy. A good size wardrobe , tv and sound system.

It was very pleasant and welcoming. The room was huge and very clean. The only caveat was the noise from the road outside and the lights flickering but to be fair we were warned about the noise at the start.

Hotel was adequate. Could have been cleaner round the edges and window frames etc. Toilet roll holder fell off. Strong smell of weed throughout the whole stay. Really comfy. Nice clean towels and bedding. Spa bath was easy to use and quite big. No Toiletries. Excellent location. Would stay there again

Fix the window in room 2.

Check in went well and the room was as expected. But the window in our room wouldn't close and there was no staff around to help with the issue ,we looked before going out for food and again when we got back as it was still before their end of check in time. Lucky for us we took ear plugs with us so the outside noise wasn't too unbearable or I'd have given a lower score.

Check in was fine. Friendly and helpful. After that no service of anykind. By which i mean a three day stay used towels removed but not replaced, bed sheet never channged, not sure the duvet cover was changed from.last guest.

I arrived to find that no food is served at the hotel so after a 6 hour car journey this wasnt ideal, also the bar wasnt open so again not ideal, room looked nothing like the pictures and it felt more like a hostel than a boutique hotel

Well, we wanted to see if we could leave a small bag prior to check in and after we’d checked out. No response to messages. The answer incidentally is no. The frontage is NOTHING like the pics. It’s really run down. The entry has scabby wallpaper which goes up the stairs. The woodwork…well it’s been painted by a small child without any of the prep beforehand. The stairs pic shows a beautiful wooden stair. It’s not! They’ve nicked the picture from elsewhere. Our room; well the bedding was clean as was the bed. The wardrobe, as you walked past it to the bathroom rattled (like a tambourine). Jacuzzi bath was clean. There wasn’t a shower although the was a hand held one. Pity the cleaner doesn’t clean the towel rail. It’s filthy. The handbasin was cracked and no cover on the loo seat. Windows in the bathroom have opaque sticky back plastic on the panes. Now that’s ok, but it’s chipped and peeling. Look, it’s not expensive but it’s hostel condition at hotel prices. I’d avoid!

Not very boutique.

Not the worst hotel we’ve ever stayed in best far from the best. If you can get over the noise coming from the bar underneath the hotel til gone 1am you’re fine. After booking and then reading reviews(school boy error on my part) we were both very concerned about what we would come back to after drinks and food round skipton. It did get quieter after 1am however the room wasn’t what you would call boutique. The paint work in the room was two toned which is not a compliment and some of the fixtures and fittings were lacking. All in all given what we know now we would not choose to stay again or indeed have booked in the first place.

I upgraded my room and wish I had not. It’s a lovely room but directly above a nightclub entrance with single pane glass it is so so loud as though people are in the room. Club closes at 1am so don’t expect to be able to sleep until then. I was warned at check in there would be some noise from below but this was off the scale noisy. Also, what would I do at check in leave and not have a place to stay? It’s not really an option is it. Beautiful room with a feature bath but electrics are dodgy, dimmer switch lights only work on full if you lower them it starts to flicker. Most of the power points don’t work. Shower head water sprays every which way.
