Expedia did not send our reservation to the hotel, so they had no record of us. Even after showing the confirmation email, with note of prepayment, they could not locate anything to do with our reservation. They attempted calling Expedia to try and remedy, but after a LONG hold time, we just asked if they had space to book another reservation and we would figure it out with Expedia. WRONG CHOICE. Expedia has not followed up on either of my requests for assistance with the double payment. I was told on two occasions someone would be reaching out in 72 hours. I have yet to hear anything except requests to review the property.
As for the hotel, it was great - staff was very friendly and accommodating. Breakfast had a nice variety of items. Walkable to a few great dinner restaurants.
