Beautiful and quiet

Beautiful and quiet. The chef is amazing and our dinner was delicious. The manager/waiter was not so pleasant. I think it may have been a language barrier issue as we don’t speak Italian and he doesn’t speak English and he didn’t have much patience for translating. We also found the men who checked us in were not very welcoming. For such a beautiful hotel the front desk people should be much more welcoming. My guess is they were filling in for the regular person. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay.

The property was a beautiful. Cypress tree driveway, excellent pool, very nicely finished clean rooms & bathroom. The chef was on the whole very good. Located within 10km of Matera but in a quiet rural setting. The staff. Anna who served breakfast & checkout was excellent. The rest of the staff are either poorly managed and demoralised or should not be in a hospitality role. Checkin person was rude and didn’t make you feel welcome. Couldn’t really be bothered. The waiters I think must work on a local farm, no people skills whatsoever. Starters & main course was very good. I sent the salad back. You have a choice of green salad or mixed salad m, which was green leaves a carrots?? After that everyone disappeared leaving us and another table wondering if they were coming back to offer dessert & coffee. No one came back, no staff anywhere, so we all got up and eventually left. To top it off some of the complimentary lotions etc were half full and perused. Beautiful place, but either the staff need training or recruit some people that understand customer service. Unfortunately it ruined our stay. Couldn’t wait to move on.

Un posto bellissimo, fuori dal tempo, ma con tutte le attenzioni possibili per gli ospiti. Ăš stato davvero piacevole passare qualche giorno qui. Ottimo anche come base per visitare Matera, Altamura e i dintorni. Consigliatissimo.

L’hĂŽtel est au calme au milieu de la campagne. Il organise par ailleurs des soirĂ©es privĂ©es ( mariages, anniversaires,
) et c’est Ă©videmment beaucoup moins calme (musique, DJ, enfants qui crient). Nous dĂźnions au mĂȘme moment dans le restaurant de l’hĂŽtel. Le service s’en est ressenti (la bouteille de vin commandĂ©e est arrivĂ©e Ă  la fin du repas 😞) mĂȘme si le repas Ă©tait trĂšs bon. Le lendemain il n’y avait plus de pain au buffet du petit dĂ©jeuner. A notre demande le personnel en a ramenĂ© mais 15mn plus tard alors que nous avion dĂ©jĂ  terminĂ©. Quelques sourires du personnel seraient les bienvenus. Nous avons eu quelquefois eu l’ impression de les gĂȘner. C’est dommage car c’est un trĂšs bel hĂŽtel, bien placĂ© avec des chambres joliment dĂ©corĂ©es.

Posto bellissimo immerso nella natura . Ottima pulizia delle stanze . La pecca da segnalare Ăš perĂČ che l’accesso alla piscina sia a pagamento ( 5€ cad.Al giorno ) e che l’ ingresso alla tenuta sia aperto a tutti pertanto se pensate di passare un soggiorno in totale relax Sappiate che potreste trovarvi altre famiglie che vengono a trascorrere la Giornata li .

Una vacanza indimenticabile

Il luogo e l’ospitalitĂ  talmente ad alto livello da prolungare di altri due giorni il soggiorno. Pulizia impeccabile, struttura bellissima, ottima colazione e la simpatia di Isabella hanno reso il nostro soggiorno indimenticabile. Inoltre l’ubicazione Ă© comodissima sia per la visita a Matera che per tante escursioni e gite tra Basilicata e Puglia. Ci torneremo.

L’établissement est trĂšs beau. La chambre est spacieuse et bien Ă©quipĂ©. La literie est bonne. Malheureusement, le lieu est parfois privatisĂ© pour des rĂ©ceptions privĂ©es, ce qui Ă©tait le cas le jour de notre arrivĂ©e. L’hotelier Nous a donc dĂ©placĂ© dans une chambre avec vue sur parking et gravats au lieu de la vue sur cour (chambre supĂ©rieure rĂ©servĂ©e) pour ĂȘtre plus au calme.... RĂ©sultat: déçu de la vue et musique forte jusque tard....
