The propertyโs up keep is pretty worn down. I was surprised by the building mildew and paint chipping away. We had the swim up room and though they did a wonderful job at decorating, our AC did not work. It was 71% humidity outside. They fixed it the next day. We ran into a few workers that were nice but majority seemed unhappy. We were ignored several times and one time at the Jerk Hut the lady chopping the chicken was down right rude to everyone. We all looked at each other like what is her problem? Iโm not saying everyone needs to be super cheerful but people pay a lot of money to have a vacation, be nice. Be professional. This did not happen at the last resort I stayed at in Falmouth. They were much nicer. However, I loved the SwimUp room facing the beach. Very spacious and room service for food and etc was great. Theyโd come right down. I also liked they had a variety of food to choose from. However it was like the resort didnโt have AC. The buffet was so dangerous (Iโm not exaggerating) the humidity created the marble floors to be wet. People were sliding. The cheeses would be stuck together. A lady said they were working on it. At the hibachi dinner (different building than the buffet) a entire group left because it was too hot to be by a grill. We would have left too but we were hungry and wanted to stick to our reservation. I give the resort a 6/10 and the room 9/10, service 5/10. And oh! The drinks were super watered down! You have to ask to make them strong.

My family just got back from a week at the Royalton Negril. We chose to do the Diamond club and think itโs well worth the extra money. Our check in process was so smooth. Huge shout outs to our butlers, Daron and Shaneeka! They both checked in with us multiple times a day and made sure we had everything we needed.
This resort is beautiful! The water and beach is something I will never forget. We snorkeled every day right off of the beach and saw starfish, stingrays, conchs and tons of fish! Our room was nice with a beautiful view. The upstairs of the resort where check in is has the best view in the whole resort. You can immediately tell they try to keep up with the facilities. The coffee shop is a great place to get a latte/coffee and a snack. My only complaint is that itโs so dang hot in thereโฆ..and everywhere to be honest. Even the restaurants at night were hot. That leads me to the foodโฆthe restaurants were not good. I do not know if the food is just so different than what we are used to, but we really werenโt impressed. My son did have a wonderful piece of salmon at Hunters, but the steak wasnโt good. The wait staff was so friendly though and a big shout out to our chef at Zen. She was awesome! The buffet food was really good so we went there a lot. Had some really sweet waitstaff and the pastry chef there was so awesome!
Dips pool bar was horrible!! From staff to quality of drinks. Not good. Drinks at the diamond club bars/martini bar were so much better!

Anything that was a problem the staff especially Chantae was super helpful and efficiently resolved our issue. She also facilitated our transportation with Greg. He was most polite, courteous and made us feel super safe and secure. I will definitely recommend them to others and seek their services for my next trip out to Negril.

The Royalton Jamaica was fantastic, we cannot wait to return! The staff was amazing!! Especially Twinkle and Carmen. It was my daughter's 17th birthday and they made her feel very special. Five stars all around!

Staff was Amazing! Up on arrival, we checked into our room, as soon as we opened the door it smelled like mold. I quickly returned to the front desk to advise them of the issue. The front desk receptionist stated that is was nothing that could be done and they did not have any other rooms that I could be moved to, I requested to speak with a manager. The manager apologized for the the issue and worked to get another room, she explained that it would take a minute. I told her that I would grab some food and come back. She came to the restaurant to let me know that she locate a up-graded room, she was very apologetic. I went to my new room, it smelled like mold as well, not as bad as the first one. For the duration of the trip we tried as much as possible to stay out of room, since my spouse was waking up headaches.

I had a wonderful experience during my stay. The hotel looks just like the picturesโbeautiful, clean, and well-kept. But what truly made the stay special was the staff. Everyone I interacted with was incredibly kind, friendly, and helpful. Their warm hospitality really stood out and made me feel welcome from start to finish. It was a great stay overall, and I genuinely appreciated the service.
