Great location as the hotel is located in the old quarter within 15 minutes walking distance to food outlets, shopping as well as local attractions such as Hoan Kiem Lake, Train Street, Dong Xuan Market etc. The hotel staff especially Anna, Angela & Da are very helpful & happy to recommend good places to dine at. Hotel is rather old but reasonably clean & comfortable. Breakfast was good with a selection of local fruits.

Excellent location, easy walk to many tourist attractions. We stayed for 3 nights which we then headed to Ha Long Bay for 2 nights. We left our luggage at the hotel without any issues. Best part of the hotel are the staff! Very helpful and always there to provide any guidance about Hanoi. Shout out to Angela and Anna for always remembering our names and making our kids feel so special. I think I may have the name correct, Moon, the front desk staff at night was awesome as well. Sophisticated yet cozy. Service was top notch. Incredibly friendly and helpful staff. Great central bustling location but quiet and peaceful inside the hotel. An example of the great service: I was not feeling well from a stomach bug I caught at a previous hotel; the manager noticed I wasn't eating much at breakfast and I told her the sickness was the reason. She took it upon herself to make me ginger and honey tea as well as to provide me the ingredients to-go so I could make more later. The tea really helped.

Our room is quite spacious, super comfy, and clean. All the staff are super welcoming and detail-oriented. Their chech-in counters are 24 hours and they listen carefully to what you need and always meet ours. For example, our first night in Hanoi was pouring down pretty hard, and our shirts and shorts were totally wet and dirty, but they did our laundry and returned to us with them folded nicely, which I really like. They even let us deposit our luggages for free when we are exploring Ha Long Bay. Plus, the location is right at the center of tourists' attractions, which making it a really nice place to crush while exploring Hanoi. Definitly worth the stays!

Everything about this hotel works perfectly. The location, rooms, staff and food are exactly right. The manager, Alex, is happy to "go the extra mile" to make sure that you have what you need and that you're well looked after. His team is friendly, helpful and all seem to be very happy. This is the fourth time I have stayed at this hotel, and it won't be my last. Location-wise, you are in easy reach of Hoan Kiem lake, good eating places and, if you're feeling brave, the train street. I just need to say and extra 'thank you' to Alex. I don't think the word 'no' is in his vocabulary and this attitude just takes the stress out of business travel in Hanoi. When a promised delivery failed to arrive, it was Alex who go on the phone to DHL to find out what was happening and then made sure that when it did eventually appear it was sent on to my next hotel in HCMC. Exceptional service. Sure, you can stay in grander hotels in Hanoi, but you can't get much better!

Highly recommended! My wife and I stayed for a total of eight nights at Hanoi Lotus Boutique Hotel with a gap for a trip to Halong Bay in between. It is a restful, charming oasis from the hustle and bustle of central Hanoi. The rooms are of a very high standard and breakfast is an ample buffet of Vietnamese and western food. Best of all, the staff are outstanding — hospitable, capable and keen to assist. It was a pleasure to stay there.
