Underwhelming stay....
This hotel is a thoroughly undewhelming experience. Badalona was an awesome area and if this place was close to the pictures and image it portrays, it would have been a better trip.
I have been living in Afghanistan for the last four months, so that's saying something. Staying off the beaten path was nice, Badalona was a beautiful area, and the train ride into town is quite easy to manage after checking out the train system. Barcelona has a great transit system that is easy to navigate all over.
The hotel breakfast buffet is simply some danishes and a few slices of meat and cheese. When I popped down the first day I assumed it was a continental that is included with most hotels. It was actually the "buffet" they mention on the website. To be fair, looking at the pictures online, that is exactly what they showed. No false representation, but totally unacceptable for the 10 euro cost per person. We stopped up the road at the bakery after a couple days of the buffet to grab treats to eat for breakfast.
The room was tiny and very basic for the money.
Overall I found the experience less than satisfying and not at all what I had imagined from the internet images and ratings.
