It’s clean, quiet and beautiful setting. Like the staff. Very helpful. For dinning we are vegan/ vegetarian so not much choice to choose from. Overall excellent experience.

Aldea is a rustic, but beautiful lodge, in natural surroundings, close to the town and the park. We enjoyed our stay very much.

8/10 Very good

Very neat lodge style main entrance and dining/breakfast area. Most rooms are situated in separate cabanas (buildings) that you walk through on well maintained trails through a dense jungle. Breakfast buffet was o.k. Nice fresh fruit.

8/10 Very good

A genuine jungle lodge and you feel like you are in the heart of nature. I wish I'd had more time to experience the pool etc (I'd gotten up early one day to head to the falls) but breakfast was a great spread with lots of fresh fruit and the reception staff were really helpful. Rooms are massive and I loved having an outdoor hammock (even had a family of cats visit me one evening). You do sacrifice being close to town & buses etc for the jungle experience but taxis are plentiful and reasonably priced.

Beautiful tropical jungle setting and assorted rooms, just what I was looking for in Ifuazu

Awesome place

Loved this jungle lodge - it was more than I had hoped for and very close to the National Park which made it way more convenient to get to. Will definitely stay here again

What a unique place to stay. You really felt like you were staying in a jungle. The staff was great!

Incredible hotel located in a natural reserve. You are immersed in the jungle! The staff was extremely professional, helpful and welcoming. Definitely recommend!
Véronique, 2-night trip

8/10 Very good

Beatiful location in the jungle with cabanas for rooms integrated into nature. Loved the room and private deck. Lobby and dining room were also very nice with wood interior fitting the area. Issues: pool was covered with leaf debris, jacuzzi was not working, bar was closed leaving it difficult to even get a soda or any drink, ping pong table is junk (wouldnt matter but they advertised it).
Ervan, 4-night trip

6/10 Good

Positives: Decent size room. Comfortable bed (except just one lumpy pillow). Set in the jungle, built in sympathetic style, in dark woods. On the right side of town for the airport and falls (both a 20 minute cab ride). Negatives: Feels dated and tired in places. Paper thin walls - you can hear your neighbours fart. Tiny toilet seat - barely get a modest sized UK arse on it - Americans beware. Swimming pool is unappealing. Breakfast is very average- stale croissants, buffet only (no eggs to order, only overcooked scrambled eggs), poor coffee. Fruit is ok. Lunch was awful - veggie burger was some weird bean paste with aubergine in a dry bun. Dinner was inedible. Tough chicken breast and under cooked fries. There’s nothing near the hotel. You’re a 5-10 minute cab ride from town (US$7.50 each way). The restaurants there aren’t great. Staff forgot to order our morning taxi to the airport. The falls are stunning. Especially from the Brazil side. It’s US$80 in a taxi there and back plus park entrance. Two days in Iguazu is enough. Especially in winter (June/July) when the rain and cool air make it rather grim at times.
Judith, 3-night trip

8/10 Very good

Very attractive, comfortable property

Beautiful and interesting property. Our room was very large, clean, modern and comfortable. And very interesting and attractively decorated. Bathroom and shower were excellent. Beds were excellent, and linens too. Lobby was attractive, large and comfortable. Breakfast was just okay. Long distances from rooms to lobby and pool through the jungle. The staff was largely unintelligent and less helpful and friendly than elsewhere in Argentina. Taxi rides are required to go to town or to the park. Taxis are easily available and cheap however.
Philip, 2-night trip

4/10 Fair

This place has a lot of potential. But that is it, potential. They missed house keeping two days in a row with no explanation. You will need dry towels in Iguazu. The room smelled musty. But, the breakfast and morning coffee takes the cake. The quality of all items was terrible. Management did not speak much English at all ,so no resolution to the issues was available. I gave it a two star versus a one star due to the potential.

Perfection

Fantastic experience from beginning to end! The place is beautiful; rustic without being tacky, the room and the bed are enourmous, the shower heats up very quickly, it's super hot and it has a strong flow. The breakfast has plenty of variety, it's delicious and it's constantly replenished. All members of staff are wonderful and go above and beyond. The dinner is also delicious and the portions are enourmous! I wouldn't recommended this place more!
Tatiana, 2-night trip

The hotel is located near the Guarani community. We got to walk in the afternoon to their community to learn from them and got some beautiful local artesanía. The hotel is kept very nicely, the food at the restaurant was good, and the staff is friendly and attentive. I would definitely stay at La Aldea de la Selva again.

Lovely Setting in the Trees

Lovely place set in the trees, which afforded more privacy and a beautiful setting. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Food was very good, but options are limited for vegetarians or vegans. Rooms are not sound proofed, so we easily heard all activity next door.
