The staff at the property were very quick to respond to requests and were friendly. The complimentary coffee, tea and bread in the mornings was a very special and appreciated touch. Location is walking distance to Los Mortos Beach, Zona Romantica and endless dining options.

It was a nice place to stay the only thing that rooms do not have tv inside but we had the best host fernado that’s help us with everything we need with planning our day trip so ask for him if you ever stay here you will be in good hands.

We really liked the property. the only complaint we had was charging us for a couple towels with very little stains. never in the 28 years Ive been going to PVR have I been charged for such a small stain( or any stain on a towel). Not appropriate!!!

Summary Review

Great location for us walking is our best mode of movement in this area. Plenty of things to do and see and eat. The establishment is older but extremely spacious and is clean. We would stay again as well as refer friends and family. Good value.

Great location and staff. The roof, with swimming pools were nice. We were in a 2 bedroom, no windows to physically see outdoors. Small appliances needed cleaning. Couldn’t close one of the bathroom shower door. Needed new bed linens. Old and needed updating.

Suites Plaza del Rio is a great property right smack in the middle of what they call Downtown Puerto Vallarta and Romantic Zone. It's a two block walk from the hotel to the Malecon. There's plenty of shopping around the place. The Suite Plaza isn't a luxuries resort. Nor is it a Motel 6. It's a great place in a great location. It's a family type property. I stayed in a two bedroom two bath suite. It has a kitchen, balcony and living room. The AC is nice and cold. The bathrooms are small. This is my second stay in this hotel. It has a pool, but I never seen or used it. Every time I've stayed, I've always felt what it would be like if it was my own apartment. Yes, that's how it feels. Your own apartment in Puerto Vallarta.
