Honestly, it was disappointing. The room was extremely small, barely enough space for one double bed and a tiny wardrobe. The bed itself was broken, and the mattress was stiff, uneven, and very uncomfortable. To make things worse, the room was full of ants. There were no curtains, so the street lights kept the room bright all night. On the positive side, the receptionist was very kind, spoke perfect English, and tried her best to help us. The hotel was also located in a nice neighborhood in Sultanahmet, close to public transportation

Avec ma femme nous avions reservé 5 nuits, mais nous avons fuit après 1 nuit. Nous avons contacté Expedia et leur avons partagé les photos horribles de la chambre afin d'obtenir un changemenr d'hotel et un remboursement. Expedia a appelé l'hotel, mais rien n'a changé. Nous avons donc passé 1 nuit. Mes mots pour décrire cet hotel : Horrible, honteux scandaleux. Un cauchemard. Aucun intimité, pas de rideaux, pas de chasse d'eau, des travaux toute la journée, la clim qui coule qur nos têtes dans la chambre, pas de savon pour nous laver. Cet hotel devrait fermer ses portes.

Deceitful and Disgusting

DO NOT STAY HERE!! I have no idea how this place has so many good reviews, it is utterly horrible and disgusting. Our room was filthy, had exposed wiring, and bugs crawling all over the room. We were in the basement room and the room had 0 privacy. The door was basically in the main dining room for all the staff members and guests and it had horrible street noise. We were supposed to stay for 3 nights but after one night of zero sleep and feeling utterly disgusted, we left. Only one person of the staff spoke any English (even though the listing mentions fluent English staff). Normally I am completely understanding about this but when the condition of the room/hotel is so bad that we can’t communicate to any staff even through google translate it was incredibly frustrating. The “beautiful court yard” showed in the pictures of this place does not exist, the courtyard instead is full of construction materials and other debris. The elevator is also broken and the bathroom is filthy with jagged pieces of tile, mold, and stains all over the bathtub. I can’t tell you how horrible our experience was. Please, save yourself a terrible time and book a room anywhere else.

What can I say. Its old, its quant, its in an old part of the city. Its right near all the hot tourist sites (Mosque Bazaar etc.) Motorcycle friendly,Staff were always ready to help. The price is very reasonable. We loved it and made sure we could stay there again. (Our second time)
