Overall it was a good experience. Our big issue was there being no refrigerator or microwave in the room. Bar and grill in building had friendly staff and good food. Bed was comfortable. Continental breakfast was a big fail.

Smoky smell is a turn off

Room was beautiful and comfortable... lobby reeked of smoke from the casino. I requested a room far away from casino after reading many posts regarding that, so we didn't have issue in our room

I have stayed at The Wild Rose many times and it has always been a great place to stay. However I do really miss the restaurant upstairs and the hot breakfast. For the special winter rates you can't beat the price.

Nice stay, front desk staff was very nice and accommodating. Bed was a little too firm for my liking. Bathroom was clean as was the room!

Other than needing a laundromat, this is the best priced and cleanest place to stay. Just make sure you don't have a gambling or drinking oroblem. This place is perfect!

The hotel is older but clean . You do get the smokey smell from the casino downstairs. The room was a nice size and comfortable. We missed breakfast as it ends at 9. I would stay again for the price.

Small town casino with average amenities. There is a very small non-smoking section at the casino but does not really matter because it is still heavily smoky. The whole casino smells of cigarettes. The staff was very friendly, rooms were clean but not updated. Overall a great stay, just stinky.

After reading some reviews, my expectations were low, however I was pleasantly surprised with the exception of the strong smell of smoke in the public areas. I asked that they put an air ionizer in our room before check-in, and they did do that as our room smelled fresh when we entered. The room was clean, but slightly dated. Carpets seemed newer and clean. The breakfast was indeed continental as advertised, but not great. Prepackaged cinnamon rolls were very cold. I ate my breakfast in the room because of the smoke smell in the breakfast area. The staff was friendly. If you plan to stay, I would definitely recommend requesting an ionizer before check-in, since there are smoking rooms on every floor, so there could be some smoke smell drift even though your room is non smoking.

There was pubic hair on the bathroom floor, had and face prints on the windows and very questionable stains on the couch. I was scared to pull the blankets back to lay on the bed. The staff was friendly
