We recently booked a week-long business trip accommodation through your platform and had intended to extend our stay. Unfortunately, the experience was unacceptable.
The room provided was extremely small, dirty, and filled with smoke. The bathrooms were filthy, and the bed was in such poor condition that we could not sleep. At 4 a.m., we had no choice but to book another hotel, and we checked out at 8 a.m. the same day.
We requested a refund for the unused nights, but this was not processed. Neither did the hotel management nor Hotels.com provide assistance. To make matters worse, we also experienced food poisoning from the food served at the property.
We booked this stay in good faith, trusting Hotels.com to provide quality options. When conditions are unlivable, customers should be offered a refund and the listing should be reviewed to prevent others from facing the same situation.
We have been loyal customers for years, but this experience has shaken our confidence in using your platform. I sincerely hope Hotels.com will review this case seriously and provide a resolution by refunding the unused nights, and reconsider continuing to list this hotel.
Thank you for your attention to this matter.
