Hotel Caprera is the perfect hotel for anyone travelling to Venice who needs a simple and modest stay near the train station. Don’t expect this hotel to be anything crazy, because it’s not, but for what you’re paying for, it’s great. The staff were super nice and quite welcoming. Would visit again!

Loved this location. We had to leave a day early because of the transit strike. We would have not been able to get to our flights back to the us. Marko tried to make us pay for both days. Then finally just charged for one night. Very hard beds. But close to the train.

Perfect location near the train station

This hotel is located in the perfect spot in Venice. It is a 5 minute walk from the train station. There are no bridges in between the train station and the hotel which makes it easy to carry your luggage. You can then explore Venice without dragging around your suitcases up and down the bridges.The staff is very nice and very knowledgeable. I went with my 16 years old daughter and two of her teenage friends. We had a very nice stay.
