Xilitla is a paradise by itself but Posada James added a nice touch to our trip. The location, owners, food and thenentire personnel were amazing. You can also get some discounts on local attractions. The surrealist garden of Ed James is withing a short walk distance.

¡Posada James en Xilitla es una verdadera joya! Las vistas son absolutamente impresionantes y la hospitalidad de los anfitriones y chicas del staff es inigualable: cálida, cortés y atenta. La comida de cinco estrellas, las habitaciones limpias con camas cómodas y aire acondicionado, la refrescante piscina y el estacionamiento seguro hicieron que nuestra estancia fuera inolvidable. ¡Recomiendo ampliamente este hotel boutique para una escapada perfecta!

Está muy bonito el restaurante. El servicio excelente, la cama cómoda. El único pero es que la habitación que me tocó parece que tiene los muebles muy viejos, en adición las luces, ventilador etc. se veían deteriorados.

el lugar es bastante comodo y con una vista excelente, muy tranquilo para despejarse, la comida del restaurante es buena y la atencion del personal muy profesional, los cuartos son bastante amplios y la cama muy comoda, tienen todos los servicios para hacer una estancia comoda, cuenta con alberca y espacios agradables de recreacion

El lugar está literalmente a unos minutos del Jardin, por lo que trasladarse sin necesidad de usar auto es lo que mas vale la pena, adicional a que tienen estacionamiento. La atencion por parte de los dueños es espectacular, nos recibieron personalmente y nos dieron varias recomendaciones, incluyendo unas pulseritas que tenian descuentos en los restaurantes de alrededor. Tienen una terrazq con una vista muy linda, ahi ofrecen servicio de restaurante que desafortunadamente no probamos. Los contra solo son que el hotel ya es un poco viejo y esta poco descuidado, huele mucho a humedad aunque se entiende por la zona; nuestra puerta solo cerraba si la forzabas sin embargo no hubo tema porque parece un lugar seguro. El espacio de la habitacion es ideal y tiene muchos muebles.

Posada James is a beautiful hotel with wonderful owners & staff, within easy walking distance of Las Pozas / the Edward James sculpture garden. The owners went out of their way to make sure I had a good stay, and the staff were friendly and kind (and wonderful cooks!) The view from the porch where food was served was unbelievably beautiful. Would absolutely stay again!
