The hotel service was good, correct, especially at the reception and Brother Rachid, the perfume seller at the entrance. However, the buffet was limited in the fruit selection. Another thing is the transport service is done with an external company, the quality of the service is very poor, either with departures before the fixed time or leaving very late or a driver who drives like a madman. The bus service is very limited every hour with a minibus of 19 or 15

Such a good hotel for the price. A little far from Haram compared to the other hotels of course but it was worth it. It did have shuttles to Haram, however, it did drop us a little far from Haram and heading to the clock tower area or King Abdul Aziz gate took some time so be ready to walk. Hard time finding the bus in Haram as well to head back, sometimes you can take the other hotels bus, Midan Hotel bus, it is next to Violet.

Am Anfang haben wir leider ein hinteres 4 Bett Zimmer bekommen, in dem die Klimaanlage sehr laut war und es war überhaupt kein Guten Blick nach außen. Nach dem wir die Rezeption es erzählte, wurde uns einen 4 Bett mit ausgezeichnete Blick und beste Flur gewechselt. Die gesamte Personal waren sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Das Hotel ist sehr zu empfehlen und wir werden gerne dort wieder übernachten. Ich würde nur empfehlen, dass man die Gäste lieber direkt ein schönes Zimmer anbieten, damit man nicht mit Kindern umziehen muss. Wie man so sagt, First Impressionen is the last impression. :)

Great Makkah experience, but average stay

Our stay at Makkah was a great one, but only because of the spiritual experience that Makkah as a city provides. Our stay at Violet Hotel was average despite me paying very high.rates due to the season. While there were few options only due to the peak season, the service was at best average and poor in most cases. For example, there was no room service provided through our 3 day stay, despite a couple of reminders The number of towels were not enough and toileteries were not refilled throughout our 3 day stay. They were dropped off after a few reminders. The phone to the reception never worked and all requests were made in person at the reception. Communicatiion is a challenge as very few staff understand English. We realised after 2 days that there was a shuttle service to Kaabah and we could not figure out the timings as the security could not understand my question!!

Perfect Family Stay

The rooms were comfortable, and the staff was welcoming, making our stay memorable and enjoyable. My daughter enjoyed the pool and we really liked the breakfast buffet.

Reception speaks no basic word of English and doesn’t seem to care. Customerservices is non existent to put is simple. At arrival i got ignored for 15 mns while my taxi was waiting outside still with my luggage. Luckily the driver didn't charge me extra for the wait. The shuttle didn't always run on time. And the bus is old and dirty. Wigh very rude drivers shouting. The legs of our beds were unbalanced so moving in the bed makes very loud noise. The images of the TV are the worse i have seen in 30 years. So i will bropably stop here and say i will never use this hotel again.

Bij aankomst zoals verwacht was niemand aanwezig moest alles zelf zoeken , inchecken en uitchecken ging wel vlot. De lift was te traag. De bussen waren niet zo proper en moest te ver uitstappen naar het Masjid Al Haram! Het ontbijt was wel top!
