historic hotel top of the tops

One of the very best hotels in Germany - truly historic location, five-star service, excellent dining. The great reception team made us feel at home from the start and treated us to an upgrade from the junior suite we'd booked to the Gropius Suite, a beautifully designed spacious suite in homage to the German-American founder of the Bauhaus school of architecture. We marveled at the attention to detail in the decor on the walls, the floor, the furniture. We treated ourselves to a gourmet dinner in the hotel's restaurant and enjoyed teatime the next day in the glorious Lichtsaal lobby with enough art on the walls to satisfy any culture vulture. We're looking forward to our next stay, Weimar has so much to see and this hotel is the place to be.

We stayed for three nights - Weimar itself was an amazing town to visit (we hadn’t expected this!) and the staff and facilities of the Hotel Elephant Weimar were exceptional. From the moment we checked in, to dinner, the clean up, to checking out - all the staff doing all the jobs were super friendly. I’d recommend this hotel in a heartbeat.

Sympathisches Traditionshaus

In vergleichbaren Hotels fühlt man sich gerne übermäßig künstlich hofiert. Hier waren, vor allem im Restaurant, alle Mitarbeiter ehrlich sympathisch. Haben das Abendessen sehr genossen und kommen gerne irgendwann wieder.

Das historische Hotel liegt sehr zentral in Weimar und ist daher sehr gut für Besichtigungen geeignet. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und das Frühstück ausgezeichnet. Das Zimmer war etwas klein, verfügte aber über ein sehr schönes Bad und einen begehbaren Kleiderschrank.

Mein Aufenthalt in diesem Hotel war einfach unvergesslich! Schon beim Empfang fühlte ich mich herzlich willkommen. Das stilvolle Interieur, die geschmackvolle Auswahl an Möbelstücken und Dekoration schufen eine wunderbare Atmosphäre. Mein Zimmer war nicht nur komfortabel, sondern bot auch einen atemberaubenden Ausblick. Der Service war durchweg erstklassig – aufmerksam, freundlich und professionell. Ein besonderes Highlight war der köstliche Kuchen, der mich restlos begeisterte. Und das Frühstück? Einfach ein Traum! Die Vielfalt an frischen, hochwertigen Produkten wurde durch eine eigene Haselnuss-Schoko-Aufstrich- Maschine perfekt abgerundet. Ein Hotel, das mit viel Liebe zum Detail überzeugt – ich komme definitiv wieder!

Bel hôtel bien situé avec parking. Malheureusement la douche débordait à 10h du soir après 1 minute…. Il manque aussi un deuxième fauteuil dans la chambre double. Très bon petit déjeuner

Sehr schönes Hotel in Super-Lage

Frisch saniertes Hotel mitten in der Innenstadt von Weimar. Geschmackvoll eingerichtet, viel alte Pracht. Ein Riesen-Manko. Billigstkopfkissen wie in einer Zwei-Sterne-Absteige. In Anbetracht der Tatsache, dass man ein Hotel i.e.L. zum Schlafen aufsucht, ein nennenswertes Problem. Das geht in der Liga deutlich besser.
