Great location - Lots of Stairs

Great location; walking distance to the museum and many shops and restaurants. We parked as close as GPS suggested, called the hotel, and staff arrived quickly to help with luggage and guide us to the hotel. Unfortunately, the only available room didn't have a window! Not mentioned when booking. Also, tiny entrance; my 6 ft. 3 husband had to crouch down to get into the room. The location is on the side of the hill below the castle. Very picturesque but lots of stairs everywhere.

Lovely room and view, staff could not have been any friendlier. Driving a car there is almost impossible, GPS navigation takes you everywhere but the hotel. There is no parking, despite what description says. It’s free-for-all parking nearby (if one can find a spot after fighting crowded streets and traffic). Then one has to carry suitcases/belongings up stairs and through alleys to get to the hotel. Our room was very nice, but the internet/wifi did not work. Staff delivered fresh fruit plate as an apology—it was delicious, but was 11PM. Breakfast buffet was sumptuous and delicious. Old Mardin is all within walking distance and spectacular. Front desk gave us great dining and sightseeing recommendations.

Quiet hotel down an alley at the end of the main street of the old town. Like most of the houses in Mardin the hotel is on multiple different levels, so lots of steps! We had a very pleasant stay and particularly enjoyed the terrace.

Vasat bir konaklamaydı. Yerin dibinde daracık bir oda verilmişti. Ölmeden mezara girmiş gibi hissettim basık ve küçücük odada. Aracınızı otoparkları olmadığı için sokağa park ediyorsunuz fakat araç park yeri ile otel arası yol yorucu çünkü merdiven ve taşlık engebeli yokuşlardan geçmek zorundasınız. Biz baya zorlandık valizlerimizi taşırken. Ayrıca daha merkezi ve otoparkı olan otel fiyatlarına göre gecelik ücretleri de çok daha yüksek kaldı. Çok daha iyi bir otelde daha az yorularak ve daha az ödeyerek kalabilirdik maalesef.
