Owners are very friendly. Inside is renovated and clean. Working on the outside. Great value for St.Augustine. The outside is bieng renovated. Throw back motel/hotel. Working on a retro restoration.

Clean and economic choice for the area.

Very easy check-in by a friendly staff. The room was spotless, but overall the property is rundown. Convenient to downtown historic area and dining choices by car, a little further than I would walk. Right next to train tracks so light sleepers beware. Was a last minute reservation so we considered ourselves lucky.

Place look sketchy..from the moment I drove in the parking feel weird and unsafe the “lobby” was a mess boxes and linens on two sofas they have there. Room was dirty, beds were noisy bathroom was moldy, toilet didn’t flush properly. Went at the beginning of the night of lights so everything was booked so we couldn’t go somewhere else. I hate to leave bad reviews but this time I have to. It said under new management hopefully they get better with time.

This hotel was really crappy.. from the check in area that stunk and had dirty sheets thrown around the lobby. The parking lot and overall place is run down and looks like its being repaired but its not.. the rooms.. the tub floor was loose and felt like it would crumble under foot and the room just felt like it was a place you stay if you are homeless.. not that you actually paid $150 a night for... DO NOT Stay here.. abort abort.

About what was expected.

Overall it was a so/so experience. While not especially cheap by general standards, it was by tourist area standards. The motel is older, but is maintained. The cleanliness was passable. However, the air conditioning could barely maintain about 75°F when I need below 70 to sleep (personal needs). If you need it cold like me, then probably I wouldn't stay here. The room is also small, but most things in St. Augustine aren't particularly large, so that is normal. The bed was low but comfortable enough. There are few amenities, but the location was excellent. It looks like it is being repaired or revamped, but I didn't actually see any workers. Possibly it is a DIY job by the new management. The plumbing could be better in the shower/tub, and I highly recommend you bring your own washrag or equivalent as they are not provided here.

Spend the extra money somewhere else. The shower head & faucet were nasty. I didn’t even want to use the shower. Bathroom sink wouldn’t drain . Turned on the shower hair and debris came up from the drain . Refrigerator bottom was rusted and had holes. The bathroom is why I would never stay there again. Bed was comfortable and ac and wifi worked well .

The property was a no frills place and a cheap spot to shower and sleep. All was fine except for the pubic hair clog in the shower and the half smoked cigarette my 6 year old found under the bed accompanying the weed smell coming out of other rooms. The owners were incredibly nice and accomodating!.

The front desk was very depressing, with a bad smell, the room had poor paint, the air conditioning smelled bad, the mini fridge did not cool and the chairs inside were stained and in general the room smelled really bad.
