The room was beautiful.. had Excellent pool service by Nathaniel. He made the trip even better! He brought us towels, made us drinks we wanted. He is top notch employee!

Disappointing details that ruined a luxury stay
Despite the luxurious look of Amrit, several things immediately turned me off at check-in.
First, the guest relations rep decided on his own that my dog wasnโt a service animalโwithout looking at any documentsโand said management backed his judgment. We were charged $200 for the stay, making this the first time in all our U.S. travels that a hotel staff member, not a specialist, tried to โqualifyโ a service dog.
Second, shockingly for a hotel at this level, there were no swimsuit drying racks. Four wet towels and two robes had to hang on just two hooks. Swimsuits had to be laid on balcony chairs, so to enjoy the ocean view we paid for, we had to move them to the floor or hold them in our hands. Not exactly luxury.
Also, for a resort of this standard, a birthday card or even a small gesture wouldโve been nice. But not at Amritโthey must believe itโs up to them to decide when my birthday is.
We came to celebrate my 35th for just two days, hoping for a peaceful escape. Instead, these small but telling oversights ruined what shouldโve been a relaxing, high-end experience.

Pricey but pretty room
Beautiful views. Breakfast was ok. Strange smell on the upper floors and in the rooms. Room was beautiful with a wrap around balcony. We were only there one night and didnโt use the pool but it looked nice. You could see the beach from the shower and tub which was a nice experience. Would have liked a nightlight option in the bathroom. Robes were made for tiny people. Iโm not that large but they didnโt cover so we opted not to use

Weekend to remember!
It was nothing but amazing. They make you feel like you are 1 in a million. Amazing views and service. Will definitely be making this a return spot a few times a year.

Rooms and spa - great. Dining - go somewhere else.
Rooms are great. Luxurious bathroom. Grande ocean view room has a large balcony. Plenty of seating areas. Dining options leave a lot to be desired - the food isnโt good and very overpriced. Spa is lovely - would return just for the spa. There are other hotels with restaurants nearby. Iโd recommend Ona. Walking distance.

The room was pretty but the service was slow, really not attentive we reported the AC wasnโt cooling right and no one ever came to check. Housekeeping came at 5 pm when we had just gotten back to the room and they said they were leaving already. The food in the restaurant also took very long to come and wasnโt seasoned properly we were all asking for the salt shaker. We wonโt return.

This hotel is beautiful and very clean but the staff leaves something to be desired. It seems to me they are severely understaffed. All of the employees seemed flustered from the moment we checked in. We waited 20 minutes to be helped at the front desk, thatโs not so bad but the bar only had one person serving drinks and food and it took a long time for service. My partner and I just ended up leaving. We went to dinner at the hotel restaurant. I have a severe food allergy, celiac disease. Our server seemed knowledgeable but I ordered the short rib which he indicated that their polenta was not gluten free so he would have the kitchen substitute it for mashed potatoes. When they brought the food out they served it over the polenta. My partner ordered the same thing and tasted it for me and told me it was indeed the polenta. It took 25 minutes for the server to come back to the table. After telling him what happened he was very apologetic and had the kitchen remake my food. The server was good but again they seemed understaffed. When they did bring me my entree it was delicious. I also tried the Burrata appetizer but it was sadly underwhelming. The tomatoes werenโt flavorful, there was no seasoning, and the greens were just dry no olive oil or dressing. At one point my partner lost his room key, it is easy to do since they are these small wooden discs, he couldnโt get back to the room because the elevator requires a key for use, and the front desk staff was very rude to him.
