Harbor House Hotel and Marina at Pier 21
10/10 Excellent
"This is a lovely place to stay close to the harbor. If taking a cruise you can walk or shuttle to the port. It is walking distance to The Strand and many restaurants. "
Wingate by Wyndham Galveston Beachfront at the Seawall
6/10 Okay
"I had higher expectations from a Wingate by Whyndham motel. It was a little bit disappointing. The wifi was the worst part, didn't work well and I can't believe I had to pay extra for parking. Location was great though!"
"The room was large and comfortable with a beautiful view of the Gulf of Mexico. The breakfast was one of the best free ones I've had.
The only negatives were that the ice machine was out of service on our floor and my wife wished there was an in-room coffee maker. She wanted to have coffee on the balcony without having to change clothes and head to the lobby first."
"We arrived late, but guest service was wonderful! We were the first to use the Limo service to our cruise port, and it was a life saver! Thanks to everyone for making our pre/post cruise experience seamless!"
