"I had an amazing time at Lake Bunyonyi Eco Resort. It was clean, and very friendly staff. Bruce the server was amazing and extremely helpful whenever I needed to know anything. I love this place. I would highly recommend staying here for more than 1 day. I loved the comfortable beds, hot showers and the feeling of being at peace with nature. It had get extremely cold at night so always have warm clothing and rain coat. Every morning I would awake to the sound of the blue monkey in the trees ...

"The island is idyllic - Robert and his team provided a great service. The food was good (but wine expensive!). The swimming jetty is very rotten and the steps into the lake have disappeared so swimming is very difficult (unless you go through the mud). The cottages are different sizes and the showers vary in quality. The beds were very comfortable. Despite the slight negatives (and I am sure Robert will be on it when he reads this) we would definitely go again and stay a little longer than the three nights. "
