"The property is fabulous! I enjoyed my stay very much. The staff is friendly and courteous. The only issue I had at all was the Timeliness of the Service. That said, I am from Houston, Texas and we move very quickly. So, as long as you have all the time in the world, the service is great! I was honestly very surprised at how comfortable and well-run everything was - truly comparable to a high-end US or European hotel. "The grounds are lovely, a true forest in the city. Over the years my travel companion and I have had three different types of accomodations, a small budget room, a two bedroom suite, and a cottage. They all had advantages and disadvantages, but we agree that the cottage we recently stayed in for four nights was our favorite. It had two patios, two en-suite bedrooms, a living/kitchen/dining room and was surrounded by lush greenery. If steps are a problem, maybe not suitable. The food here...

"The stay at Excelsis was excellent. The staff were so accommodating and eager to make the stay comfortable. The food was good, I recommend their chicken fried rice. Breakfast was well prepared as I ordered off the menu, the Spanish omelette was magnificent. All in all a great first stay. Keep up the great work. "

"This hotel was nice . Sadly , I never had hot water had cold showers for all 6 days that I stayed there. Except for this it had a good restaurant and great service from the staff . I won’t stay there again as it is not a cheap hotel and hot showers should be taken as mandatory."
