"Personalet var hyggelige og behjelpelig. Rommet var fint og rent og hadde utsikt mot stille sidegate. Da jeg var her utenfor turistsesong, var dessverre kjøkkenet stengt, men det var mange restauranter i umiddelbar nærhet."

"After escaping from another cities Terrible hotel we were so happy to be at the eagle! The room was wonderful with a bathtub and super comfortable sofa. Staff was very nice and welcoming. We had hoped to eat at the restaurant, but it wasn’t open. The only reason I have it 4 stars was because of the terrible breakfast. Seemingly nothing was restocked and it was mostly empty at 8:30. "

"This hotel was gorgeous! Spacious room, comfortable bed, great breakfast, lovely staff, secure parking. Taking one star off because smoking is allowed in the building hallways, and the location was not convenient for getting food. "

"Very nice hotel. Staff were friendly but struggled with communication. Don’t know of any good restaurants near by. Not too far from train station. Breakfast was a very good selection. Laundry service was very fast and inexpensive! Close to museums and shopping! I did manage to find a nice place nearby with a garden style."

"Ok so I have very mixed feelings about my stay here. It was odd. This is a magnificent oceanfront hotel in the middle of nowhere and it’s apparently almost completely void of guests the majority of the time. I’ve never seen anything like it. This place is massive. The common area could easily entertain 1000+ people; I think that’s a low estimate. There is a huge breakfast area that was empty the four days I was there. "The hotel itself is no doubt a good hotel according to north American standard. Breakfast is ok. The roof is leaking into the restaurant, but I guess this will be repaired soon. However the spa was a disappointment, not exactly what I would have expected. "
